Welcome to Kelly Sports Wellington. We operate all Kelly Sports and Kelly Club Programmes across Wellington from the eastern to the northern suburbs.
School Programmes
Lunchtime and Afterschool
We provide active, fun and challenging classes at 19 schools across Wellington. Programmes run every term and focus on a variety of sports codes and skills. We visit each school once a week – some at lunchtime and some after school – offering two levels of programmes. One for younger kids/beginners based around the fundamental sports skills and one for the older kids/sports nuts based around teaching the more advanced rules and skills for individual sports. Classes start in week 2 of each term and finish in week 8/9 (depending on the length of the school term).

Holiday Programmes
Kelly Club Holiday Programmes (full-time care) – We have 2 fun new full-time holiday care programmes, one in Wilton and one in Berhampore. Both programmes are now running from 8am to 5.30pm. We’re OSCAR approved and WINZ subsidies are available, plus children can be enrolled for single days, mornings only, full weeks, whatever you need. Our Kelly Club full-time holiday care is active, outgoing and varied. We offer high quality, inclusive and entertaining programmes of activities, challenges, trips and games to keep kids aged 5 to 12 on the go throughout the school holidays. Every holiday is different and everyone is welcome – come and make new friends and learn and try new things. Wellington Region’s ‘OSCAR Best New Programme 2011′. Parties
Yes, we provide Birthday Party Entertainment and Fun! You choose the time and venue (we can discuss options with you).You choose the activities for the children (2-3) from soccer, cricket, netball, basketball, baseball/t-ball, playground/fairground games or anything else you like. We provide all sports equipment and staff for 1 or 1.5 hours of sporting fun and active games . For up to 20 children we provide one coach, for more than 20 you’ll need two coaches. You then get to sit and watch your Birthday child and her/his friends in active fun play, with smiles and laughing along the way. Indoor Pre School Football
Come and learn the basics of Football in a safe, fun indoor environment.
Our pre-school classes are active, exciting and suitable for ages 2-4. Kids are taught basic skills in small, age appropriate, groups and we finish with a mini-game. We provide bibs and balls, skills drills and exercises. Shin pads are recommended (we have a few spare pairs while kids try it out).
Classes run at Wests Rugby Clubrooms, Ian Galloway Park, Wilton, every Tuesday 9.30-10am and every Wednesday 9.30-10am and 1.45-2.15pm. Please contact us prior to attending the first session so we can have the appropriate number of coaches and balls. Cost: $7 per session per child and is paid for either on the day or term by term.

Summer Series
Netball and Football Competitions
Our Summer Series Sports Leagues are for fun, fitness and skill enhancement. They are fun, social, Friday night sports leagues for ages 5 – 17 (mixed age and sex teams allowed). It’s social and fun, so you can play with your friends.
Football is a 5 a-side competition at Ian Galloway Park in Wilton; Netball is 7 a-side at Marsden School in Karori.
Short games starting every half an hour, youngest play first (starting around 3.30pm and running till around 7pm). We run in Terms 4 and 1 of school year, with teams registering in term 3. Teams commit to both terms but pay on the day. No play, no pay (we are weather dependent)! Grading games are played at the beginning of season. Most Valuable Player Ribbon for every team after every game, Captains Trophy for each team, End of season Trophies for Division Winners/Runners Up.
