After School Programmes

Holiday Programmes
Our school holiday programmes are held at Howick Primary School. We are running a range of programmes in the July school holidays (see our sport specific options below as well). Full day, morning or afternoon options available. A whole range of fun activities including movie day outs and an all-day trip to Butterfly Park. Soccer Skills Session, Wheels Day, Indoor Games Competitions, Multisport sessions with soccer, hockey, athletics, rippa rugby, basketball. Plus lots more fun activities – the list goes on. Kelly Sports July School Holiday Programme
Kelly Sports Soccer Holiday Programme
Learn the fun of the game of indoor soccer with coaching, games and prizes. Held at the Pakuranga Indoor Sports Centre on Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 April. $90 for the 3-day programme or you can enrol on a daily basis for $30 per day. Kelly Sports Rugby Holiday Programme
We are running a Rugby Player Development Programme on Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 April at Howick Primary School. Former All Black Frank Bunce will present player awards on the final day. It’s a great pre-season activity for learning new skills. For those aged from year 3 through to year 8. Indoor Soccer Leagues
Click on the link below for info about our Summer Series Indoor Soccer Leagues held in term 4 and term 1 each year. The venue is Action Indoor Sports Centre, Ben Lomond Crescent. Held on Friday afternoons. 5-a-side football with rolling subs. Game times from 3.50pm onwards. 2 x 15 minute halves. Grades are 9 and under, 11 and under, 13 and under, 15 and under. Summer Touch Module
Click on the link below for info about our Summer Touch Module. Held at Howick Primary School every Wednesday afternoon. Join a team or get your friends and family to form their own team. School touch teams welcome. Enter now and join the summer fun sport of Touch. Starts Wednesday 26 October. Games between 4pm and 6pm. For year levels 3 to 8 (approximately 7 to 13 year olds):

Pre School Programmes
We run pre school Ball Blitz and Fundamental Skills Time at kindergartens in Auckland. Our programmes aim to develop the children’s skills in a fun and exciting sporting environment.

Pat & Lyn Flavell are excited to be working with Kelly Sports using the skills they have developed over the years to encourage kids to give sport a go and to live a healthy active lifestyle.
Pat was a National Development Officer for Touch NZ Volley Ball NZ and served as the Counties Manukau Touch Associations Development Officer for 10 Years. Pat has been involved with rugby for many years, firstly as a Junior Club Rugby Coach for 10 Years and 8 years as a Premier Club Coach. Pat is currently the Counties Manukau Steelers Rugby Under 20s Head Coach a position he has held since 2008. Pats previous position prior to purchasing Kelly Sports was with Youthtown as Head Coach of the Youthtown Coaching in schools program.
Lyn Flavell has been involved in sport for many years as an administrator at a regional and club level. Lyn was Secretary of the Counties Manukau Touch Association for over 10 Years. Lyn is also the Chairman and full-time administrator of the All Seasons Community Sports Trust. Lyn is also a Touch Rugby Competition Organiser having coordinated Touch Competitions since 1991 and now has a membership base of over 2000 registered players.
Over the years we have both come to appreciate the role that sport plays in the lives of young children. We also see the opportunity where Kelly Sports can play in the decision making process of young children choosing a sport.
